Shaoguan County-Level Cadre Training Class Visits Omat Advanced Materials for Research and Study
On October 21, 2026, a delegation from the 4th Shaoguan County-Level Cadre Appointment and Advanced Study Class visited Guangdong Omat Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. (Omat) for on-site research and study, gaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s technological innovation, new material R&D and production, and industrial development.
The delegation toured the company exhibition hall, where Chairman Wen Hongfu gave a detailed introduction: Omat supplies high-end materials to the integrated circuit industry, covering high-purity copper, copper-manganese, phosphor copper, aluminum, titanium, tantalum, cobalt and tungsten targets for 12-inch IC chips, high-purity oxygen-free copper and ultra-high-purity indium in advanced metals, as well as key materials and core components for frontier technology fields. He also elaborated in detail on the R&D, market application, technical breakthroughs and future industrial layout of these materials.
The trainees engaged in in-depth exchanges on technological innovation, industrial chain support, talent cultivation and the development of the new materials industry, experiencing the company’s innovation vitality up close.
